CAN YOU FEEL IT?

When someone is gifted, we say that they “have it”. But what exactly do they have? What is it? They don’t actually have anything, but yet, there’s something there. The “It Factor” is a paradox. It is something intangible that you can feel.

The It Factor is timeless. It is both old and new. It’s something you’ve never seen before presented in a context you’re familiar with. If it were completely new, you’d have nothing to compare it to.

The It Factor is a surprise. It has to catch you off guard. Your expectations have to be completely usurped. The medium has to be transformed in such a way that it transforms you. You’ll never be impacted by something you see coming.

The It Factor isn’t subtle. It’s obvious. It will hit you in the face. If you could miss it, then that wouldn’t be it.

The It Factor isn’t forced. Those that have it, make it look effortless. They don’t go to it, it comes to them naturally. It can’t be manufactured, it can only be harnessed by the few who can tap into it. The strangest thing about it is that those who have it, can’t feel it themselves. It can only be felt by those around them.

The It Factor can’t be defined. You’ll search for the right words, the right comparisons but none of them will do it justice. You won’t be able to put your finger on exactly what makes that person special. That mystery is part of the allure.

The It Factor isn’t one thing. It’s a combination of everything that makes someone unique. It can’t be replicated because it manifests itself differently in each person that possesses it. This is why you can’t define it, because it’s different every time you see it.

The It Factor can’t be explained. It’s the closest thing we have to magic.
